Voluntary Service Overseas (VSO) is an international development charity[1] with a vision for a "world without poverty" and a mission to "bring people together to fight poverty". Working at project location – In this role, you will provide on-site support in the project location and/or VSO office, (full-time unless otherwise specified) for a set period of time.
To provide support and guidance on accessing finance for emerging small enterprises /entrepreneurs in the waste management sector.
Essential
Skills, qualifications and experience
A bachelor degree in finance or related subject.
Some relevant professional experience in a comparable position or working with start-ups/small enterprises.
Experience in helping small enterprises access funding
Fluent in speaking and writing in English
Desirable
Previous experience in working in a multicultural environment.
Experience in working in a developing country
Understanding of the particular barriers facing youth lead MSME
