Regularly meet civil engineering contractors, applicators, asset owners, municipality engineers, corporate & government companies, and various industries operation & maintenance teams to introduce the company's products and services to customers.
Discuss and understand the customer's needs and requirements.
Generate sales enquiries/leads from processing plants, industries, STP related to concrete repairs, refurbishment, protections against H2S biogenic corrosion, heat, abrasion, erosion, and impact etc.
Follow up after initial contact, provide samples, get approved the products, negotiate the price, secure the orders, complete the sales cycle.
Develop and maintain relations with customers.
Able to project sales forecasts based on the projects
Build the database of concrete repairs, refurbishment, protection applicators, contractors, clients, industries etc.
Collaborate with suppliers and customers and other stakeholders to provide the sales support.
Understand the local market and customer requirements, collect customer feedback and identify & report the area of improvement.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Science or any equivalent
5+ years of previous working experience in selling Construction Chemicals, Cement & Concrete products in the African market
A good network of contacts in the construction and concrete industry with a deep understanding of the industry and its techno-commercial aspects
